About Mad for Magic

Mad for Magic is a free website full of magic tricks and optical illusions that work on you, right on your phone.

What you can do here

• Illusions. Make colors appear from nothing, watch dots vanish, and feel your arms float.
• Perform for friends. Learn a trick in a minute, then fool someone with it.
• Mind reading. Think of a card or a number. The site finds it.

There are 13 tricks so far. Each one takes about a minute. After every trick you can see how it works: the science behind the illusions and the math behind the mind reading.

Who it is for

Anyone curious about magic, especially teenagers around 12 to 18. Everything is written in short, plain sentences, and works on a phone, a tablet or a computer.

Safe and private

• No sign up, no accounts and no ads.
• No camera, no microphone and no location. The site never asks for them.
• No cookies and nothing about you is collected.
• The only thing counted is how many times each trick is started, finished and shared, with no way to tell who did it. That helps us see which tricks people like.
• No trick asks you to do anything that could hurt. No flashing lights.
